How does Fruitz respond to data requests from Law Enforcement?

Where required, Fruitz works with law enforcement authorities to respond to requests relating to criminal investigations, welfare checks, legal obligations and applicable data protection laws.

We cooperate with law enforcement in good faith while complying with our Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection regulations. Our aim is to provide a safe environment for all members, both on and off the app.

We process requests from law enforcement in accordance with applicable laws and do not disclose these requests to our members or to the public.

Requests from law enforcement

Law enforcement authorities may submit requests for data disclosure or data preservation by emailing:
privacy@fruitz.io

To ensure your request can be processed as quickly as possible, it must include:

The name of the individual concerned.
At least one of the following:
- the registered email address;
- the registered phone number;
- the phone number linked to the account;
- the account's unique identifier.
The reason for the request.
The information being requested.
An official email address belonging to the requesting law enforcement authority.
The contact person's name, department, job title and phone number.
The relevant legal document (for example, a court order or legal request), attached to the email.
