I don't see any profile around me

No new profiles around you?
Try expanding your search preferences to bring more potential matches into your Discovery view. Follow the steps below to adjust your Discovery settings:

    Open Fruitz
  2. 2.
    Tap the profile icon on the top left corner
  3. 3.
    Tap the Settings icon
  4. 4.
    Scroll to Discovery Settings and increase your distance and/or age range
  5. 5.
    Validate your choice by clicking on the arrow on the top left-hand corner
Running into technical trouble?
The best thing you can do is make sure you have a strong internet connection, and then delete and reinstall the app. This will not only put you on the latest version of Fruitz, but also refresh your app experience, which should get things running smoothly again!

I'm seeing profiles I've already swiped on

You may see someone’s profile again if they deleted their account and decided to come back, or if you've been swiping with poor network connection.

The profiles I see are far away

If only some of your potential matches are far away, there are a few reasons why this might be:
  • Discovery Settings - We may sometimes show you potential matches that fall slightly outside of your preferences. Although they’re a bit farther away, we hope you agree they’re worth the exception. To double-check your distance preferences: tap the profile icon > Settings > scroll to Discovery > see Maximum Distance.
  • Travelling - If you have recently visited another city, you may see people from there for up to 24hrs after changing your location.
If you think this is more of a technical issue, you may want to try these troubleshooting steps:
  • Log out and log back in by tapping the profile icon > Settings > scroll down and tap Logout.
  • Delete the Fruitz app and reinstall it.

Profiles don't match my gender, age or distance preferences

If this started out of the blue, double-check that your search preferences are set to your liking.

    Go to Settings
  4. 4.
    Scroll to Discovery Settings
If everything looks good there, try logging out and logging back in to Fruitz.
