# How do I send an icebreaker?

You can send an icebreaker as soon as you have a **new match** (unless the conversation was started with a Crushnote).

It's very simple:

- The first person to connect to the match can choose an icebreaker to break the ice.
- To continue the conversation, you both must answer the question. Once that's done, the chat will open!
