# How can I tell if my match has read my message?

Only members who have purchased the **Read Receipts** feature can see whether their match has read their message.

To activate it:
1. Tap the small **✓** icon below your sent message.
2. Follow the on-screen steps to enable the feature.

| Once enabled, Read Receipts let you know when your match has viewed your message.
